Notifications about the outcome of the abstract assessment will be sent to all presenting authors by April 5, 2023.

Abstract Format

• You must use the abstract text template. (You can download the template on the online submission portal.)
• The abstract text must not exceed 250 words.
• Do not include the title and authors in the abstract text.
• The template is blank and you are requested to add the text in the usual structure of a scientific abstract.
• Grant references must be included at the end of the abstract text.
• Tables may be included (content included in the word count).
• Graphics are NOT allowed.
• Font: Arial
• Font size: 11 pt
• A maximum of 50 authors with 3 institutions per author is allowed. However, the size of the author block must not exceed 3,000 characters.
• Remember that you may be presenting author of only one paper, but co-author of any number of abstracts.

**Please provide a confirmation signed by the head of department/Institution specifically referring to the number of years in a given position or the career level, at the moment of your registration.

2  Open to those who have retired from their practice, are over 65 years of age and have an active emeritus membership.

4 Technicians are proficient to perform work in scientific laboratories. Contrary to postdocs they are not “in training”.
5 Applies to Master/PhD students working towards a degree in human genetics or an associated field. Please provide a confirmation signed by the head of department at the moment of your registration.
