• SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Abstract Format

• You must use the abstract text template. The template is available for download on the online submission portal.
• The abstract text must not exceed 250 words.
• Do not include the title and authors in the abstract text.
• Grant references must be included at the end of the abstract text.
• Tables may be included (content included in the word count).
• Graphics are NOT allowed.
• Font: Arial
• Font size: 11 pt
• A maximum of 50 authors with 3 institutions per author is allowed. However, the size of the author block must not exceed 3,000 characters.
• Remember that you may be presenting author of only one paper, but co-author of any number of abstracts.

Dear Colleagues, Dear Friends,

I am honored to invite you to the 57th annual European Human Genetics Conference that will take place in Berlin, Germany from Saturday June 1 to Tuesday June 4, 2024.

The ESHG conference provides a platform for the dissemination of the most recent advancements in the field of human genetics, both scientifically and technologically. It also fosters the education of the upcoming generation of human geneticists. The scientific program reflects this broad scope, inviting the best speakers for the invited talks and concurrent symposia, selecting the best abstracts for oral presentations, completed by poster presentations and a set of educational sessions.

The conference is a unique opportunity to meet, share results, build scientific projects and collaborations and get inspired, whatever your professional background in human genetics.

The meeting will also allow to make direct contact with exhibitors, presenting their new product portfolio and offering practical demonstration.

In addition to the high quality of the scientific program, the meeting favors social interactions and the Monday evening party is a unique and usually fondly memorable event, where you can meet and talk to friends.

The field of human genetics is evolving extremely fast and the ESHG conference is a major professional and scientific event, that you do not want to miss.

6  Open to those who have retired from their practice, are over 65 years of age and have an active emeritus membership.
7 Applies to undergraduate students at university/college level who have not finished any medical degree yet. Please provide a copy of a Student’s ID or a confirmation signed by the head of department at the moment of your registration.
