Submission Guideline

• -Authors have the option of choosing their presentation type (Oral, Poster, or Video Presentation).
  However, the scientific committee will make the final decision after review.
• -All abstracts must be submitted online.
• -Abstracts must be written in clear English.
• -Encore abstracts (previously presented in other international conferences) can be submitted.
• -If the abstract has more than 21 authors and affiliations, please send the abstract to the secretariat by e-mail (abstract@wces2022.org).
• -The abstract body/text should be structured into the 4 sections: Background, Methods, Results, Conclusions.
• -The abstract body may be no more than a maximum of 250 words.
• -Ensure that your abstract is grammatically correct and free of typographical errors.
• -Please check the presenting author when you type the author information online.
• -If you want to modify or review your abstract, you can do at '‘My Page-Abstract Submission.”
• -The right to publish your abstract is granted to the WCES 2022 Organizing Committee.
• -Presenting authors must register in the congress through the website by August 31, 2022 (KST).

Withdrawal of Abstracts

• -If the presenting author of an accepted abstract does not register by the pre-registration date,
  the abstract will be automatically withdrawn from the final program.
• -If you would like to withdraw an abstract, please notify the WCES 2022 Secretariat
  (abstract@wces2022.org) by email as soon as possible.

Dear Colleagues,

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the 18th World Congress of Endoscopic Surgery (WCES 2022)
to be held in Busan, Korea from October 5 to 8, 2022.

Since the first WCES congress was held in 1988, WCES has grown into one of the most authoritative congresses while remarkably contributing to the advancement of techniques of minimally invasive surgery. WCES is the best place for all the surgeons and participants to collaborate and to build relationships for the future of MIS.

WCES 2022 will follow in the footsteps of previous congresses and continue to abide by its standard of excellence. Under the theme of "Embracing New Challenges, Opening a New Era,” the WCES 2022 committee will organize our programs to gather all surgeons and researchers who are interested in the field of endoscopic surgery.

I am confident that we will overcome today’s pandemic and meet in-person with the more colleagues at WCES 2022. Be sure to mark the dates in your calendar and please stay safe and healthy until we meet at WCES 2022.
