The submission deadline was Monday, June 20, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.

Authors identified as the Presenting Author will be notified by email regarding acceptance or non-acceptance of the abstract by or before July 29.

Late-Breaking Abstracts

The online submission period for late-breaking abstracts will be August 15 - September 1, 2022. Details will be made available on this site in mid-July. Authors of accepted late-breaking abstracts will be notified in mid-September, and must register for and present their abstract in person at the ACG 2022 Annual Scientific Meeting in Charlotte, NC.

Late-breaking abstracts must abide by the same submission guidelines and instructions required for abstracts submitted during the general March 14 – June 20, 2022 submission period.

• Abstracts will be considered if they detail high-quality clinical research results that were not available or fully analyzed at the general abstract deadline (June 20, 2022).
• Abstracts that were already considered during the general abstract period should not be resubmitted.
• Clinical vignettes, case reports, and video submissions will not be considered.
• Late-breaking abstracts are only considered for oral presentation and not as posters, and they will not be included in the supplement to the October 2022 issue of The American Journal of Gastroenterology

ACG is offering flexible registration options for this year's hybrid conference. Registrants can choose to attend in-person in Charlotte, participate virtually, or select a combination of both. Pricing is the same for all courses, whether selecting in-person or virtual registration.

Both in-person and virtual registration includes access to presentation handouts, slides, and recorded on-demand content (based on course registration) on the ACG 2022 Conference Platform until March 31, 2023. Virtual registrants will use the Conference Platform to watch the livestreamed sessions during the conference dates. (Note: On-demand recordings and presentation slides from the ASGE course will only be available via ASGE's GI Leap.)

*You must register for the Postgraduate Course in order to purchase the optional Bonus Luncheon Sessions package. In-person attendees will have on-demand access to all 24 bonus luncheon sessions through the ACG 2022 Conference Platform, and the ability to select one in-person luncheon to attend per day (Saturday and Sunday). Virtual attendees will have on-demand access to all 24 bonus luncheon sessions through the ACG 2022 Conference Platform. Annual Scientific Meeting Bonus Sessions will only be available as pre-recorded sessions on the ACG 2022 Conference Platform. There will be no in-person Annual Scientific Meeting Bonus Sessions offered in Charlotte.

**The ACG All-Access Pass will be offered as a virtual-only option for registrants who are unable to join us in-person in Charlotte. The All-Access Pass includes virtual access to the following courses: GI Pathology and Imaging Course, What's New in GI Pharmacology Course, Practice Management Summit, Postgraduate Course, Postgraduate Course Bonus Luncheon Sessions, Annual Scientific Meeting, and the Annual Scientific Meeting Bonus Sessions.

***The ACG All-Access Pass + ASGE includes all courses offered in the ACG All-Access Pass with the addition of the ASGE Endoscopy Course.

Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA): Attendees at ACG 2022 who need additional reasonable accommodations or who have special needs should contact the ACG office at registration@gi.org no later than September 28, 2022.

Cancellation Policy Written notice of cancellation and requests for refunds must be sent to registration@gi.org by September 28, 2022. After this date, no refunds will be possible. Registration cancellations are not accepted by telephone. There will be a $50 administrative fee assessed for cancellation of any paid event. Refunds will be issued after the meeting. Registrations can be modified/changed at any time without penalty. This includes changing from in-person to virtual registration and vice versa.
