Dear Colleagues,
I am excited to announce that the 30th anniversary edition of the EAHP Congress will take place in Barcelona, Spain, between 18-20 March 2026. Hospital pharmacists across Europe will gather again and seize the moment to explore a broad spectrum of topics—from the latest advancements in pharmaceutical science and technology, to the evolving role of pharmacists in the management of complex diseases via teamwork and collaboration across various roles and responsibilities to achieve the highest standards of patient care.
Over the three-day period, we will engage in discussions about the regulatory landscape, best practices in multidisciplinary medication therapy management, and the ways in which we can innovate and collaborate to overcome the ever-growing demands of our healthcare systems. Teamwork in patient management is essential for ensuring safe, effective, and comprehensive care that involves a collaborative effort among all healthcare professionals, including hospital pharmacists.
The diversity of expertise and experience that will gather from all EAHP member countries at our congress is a powerful reminder that, while our daily challenges may vary, our shared goal is the same: to ensure that patients receive the best possible treatment through the safe and effective use of medicines and medical devices. Through an enriching and stimulating few days of learning, sharing, and growing together, we will demonstrate how an effective communication and coordination between team members help to minimize medication errors, facilitates de-prescribing, optimize therapeutic outcomes, and enhance patient safety. And, perhaps most importantly, let us remember that our work, though often behind the scenes, has the potential to transform lives in ways that are both profound and lasting.
We look forward to welcoming you in Barcelona, where members of EAHP’s professional community will keep inspiring each other to think critically, to act collaboratively, and to continually strive for excellence in hospital pharmacy.

Special rates:
Only for undergraduate students of pharmacy or pharmaceutical sciences under 35 years old. As proof of this, the participant must provide an official document signed and stamped by his/her university certifying that he/she is a full-time undergraduate student studying to complete a bachelor/master degree to become a pharmacist or a bachelor/master of pharmacy/pharmaceutical sciences. The letter shall also include the month/year that the participant started your courses.
We require these documents be sent within 2 working days of the Registration being done. Alternatively, while the registered Student is waiting for said documents to be provided by their University, they are requested to send a photo of their current Student Card (Recto-Verso).
Hospital residents are not entitled to the student rate and shall register under the Hospital Pharmacy Specialization Resident Student rate.
You have to be a student at the time of the Congress. Document for this rate should be attached to the online registration and are not valid until approved by the EAHP Secretariat.
- RATE FOR YOUNG PROFESSIONALS & HOSPITAL PHARMACY SPECIALISATION RESIDENT STUDENTS:
The young professional and resident student rates apply to a person who finished within the past 5 years* his/her master of pharmacy/pharmaceutical sciences education. As proof of this, the participant must provide a copy of his/her diploma signed and stamped by his/her university and indicating the month/year of graduation. Applications for these rates are not valid until approved by the EAHP Secretariat and should be attached to the online registration record.
*within the past 5 years prior to the 30th EAHP Congress taking place. No earlier than 17 March 2021.
