Dear Colleagues and Friends,

It is my great pleasure and honor to welcome you to the 21st Congress of the World Society for Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery (WSSFN), to be held in Marseille, France, from September 30 to October 3, 2026.

This congress will bring together leading experts, clinicians, researchers, and innovators from around the world to share knowledge, exchange ideas, and discuss the latest advances in stereotactic and functional neurosurgery. The scientific program has been carefully designed to reflect the diversity and dynamism of our field, covering key topics such as deep brain stimulation, neuromodulation, modern lesioning technics, functional imaging, movement disorders, pain, epilepsy, BCI, rehabilitation and emerging technologies.

At a time of rapid technological progress and expanding clinical applications, the WSSFN Congress represents a unique opportunity to foster collaboration, stimulate scientific debate, and inspire the next generation of neurosurgeons. We hope that this meeting will not only advance our scientific and clinical practices but also strengthen the bonds within our international community.

Marseille, a city at the crossroads of cultures with a rich history and vibrant Mediterranean spirit, offers an exceptional setting for both scientific exchange and personal interaction. We sincerely hope you will enjoy the scientific sessions as well as the cultural and social experiences the city has to offer.

On behalf of the organizing and scientific committees, I would like to thank all speakers, contributors, partners, and participants for their commitment and support. We look forward to welcoming you to Marseille for what promises to be a memorable and inspiring congress.
