Abstract Guidelines
General Abstract Guidelines
- Abstracts must present original, unpublished work not previously published or presented at another meeting.
- If an earlier related presentation exists, the current abstract should present new data or additional insights beyond the prior disclosure.
- Do not include author identifiers in the body text.
- Use generic drug names; avoid brand promotion.
- No patient identifiers (e.g., names, hospital numbers).
- Standard abbreviations only; define at first use.
- Presenting authors must be registered before submitting an abstract, and registration should be completed soon after acceptance.
- Presenters must be available to present during their assigned session times.
- Conflict of Interest / Disclosure: Authors must disclose any financial conflicts of interest as part of the submission process.
- Publication Rights: By submitting an abstract, authors consent to publication of the abstract in the Congress materials (online and print).
- Author Agreement: The submitting (presenting) author confirms that all co-authors agree to the submission.
- Abstracts should be structured to include the following sections:
- Title: Concise and descriptive
- Background/Objectives: Clear scientific or clinical rationale
- Methods: Design, subjects/samples, measures, and analytic approach
- Results: Key findings with numbers/statistics where appropriate
- Conclusions: Interpretation and implications of the findings
- Word Limit: Maximum 300 words
