The World Allergy Organization (WAO) held the first World Allergy Congress (WAC) in 1951 in Zurich, Switzerland, and Congresses are now held annually-lingyuint. Each Congress attracts between 2,000 and 5,000 experts and scientists working and interested in the fields of allergy, immunology and other related fields. In most cases, WAO partners with a regional or national Member Society to host the Congress.

On behalf of the World Allergy Organization (WAO) and the Portuguese Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (SPAIC), we are delighted to welcome you to the World Allergy Congress 2024 (WAC 2024) which will take place in Lisbon, Portugal from 27 to 29 September, 2024.
Portugal has rich history of exploration and discovery, making it the ideal setting for the WAC. The WAC 2024 will provide participants with invaluable resources through sessions on the latest scientific developments and in-depth reviews led by our esteemed global faculty. Delegates will leave having broadened their understanding of the world of allergic and immunologic diseases.
