2026年第88届日本血液学会(JSH)年会将于2026年10月9-11日在日本京都举行，会议由日本血液学会(JSH)主办。日本血液学年会是血液学领域仅次于美国血液学年会（ASH）、欧洲血液学年会（EHA）的世界排名第三的年度盛会，汇集了来自日本和世界各地的7000余名血液学领域临床、检验、基础研究专家及学者，一起分享交流血液病领域最新进展及发展趋势。

会長挨拶
Greeting

It is my great honor and privilege to host the 88th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Hematology, to be held from October 9 (Fri) to 11 (Sun), 2026, at the Kyoto International Conference Center. As President of this long-standing and prestigious meeting, I am deeply aware of the responsibility entrusted to me and am fully committed to preparing an event that will further advance our field.

The theme of this year’s meeting is “Bloodlines of Discovery: Generations in Hematology”.

As in all areas of medicine and science, the progress of hematology has been built upon the wisdom, dedication, and tireless efforts of our predecessors. From basic research to clinical practice, our mission as hematologists is to faithfully inherit the achievements of those before us and to nurture the next generation of researchers and clinicians who will carry them forward and extend them into the future.

At the same time, innovation in medicine and science arises not only through generational succession but also through collaboration that transcends boundaries—between basic and clinical research, between laboratory and bedside, among physicians and other healthcare professionals, and through active exchange among young investigators and clinicians across the world. I sincerely hope that this meeting will serve as a forum where such knowledge, passion, and vision are shared across generations and disciplines, fostering new ideas and collaborations that will shape the future of hematology.

Kyoto, the host city, has long been the cultural and academic heart of Japan—a place where tradition and innovation coexist in harmony. I look forward to witnessing fruitful discussions that will bridge the past, present, and future of hematology in this historic city.

I warmly invite all of you to join us in Kyoto in the beautiful autumn season, to engage in inspiring scientific exchange and collegial interaction.
