Please read the instructions below before submitting your abstract.
All presentations (including e-poster presentations) can only be delivered in-person.
There is no possibility for zoom / virtual presentations.
The presenting author must register for the ESPN meeting. Authors who are unable to attend ESPN may ask a colleague to present on their behalf or withdraw their abstract. If you are unable to attend please notify the Organizing Secretariat OIC and withdraw your abstract at AbstractESPN@oic.it at the earliest.

Please note that all submitted abstracts will be peer reviewed by the Scientific Committee and their selection will be final.
- Oral presentation – The top scoring abstracts will be selected for full oral presentation, including for the Best Abstract award.
- 5-minute pitch – An oral presentation highlighting key aspects of your research.
- Electronic Poster – The best posters will be presented at the moderated E-Poster sessions. Only electronic poster submission is permitted.
ABSTRACT PREPARATION
- Abstract submission is only possible on-line. Abstracts submitted by other means or submissions that do not comply with the instructions will not be accepted.
- The abstract must be written in English.
- Structure your abstract as follows: Aims / Purpose, Methods, Results, Conclusions. Please download and use the template available on the submission page.
- Abstract length: 2500 characters (including tables and references).
- Do not use abbreviations in the title. Minimise the use of abbreviations in the text.
- Select one TOPIC from the list below that is most relevant to your presentation:

– Glomerular disorders
– Chronic kidney disease

- Your abstract will be online for review and editing until the final submission deadline.
- Presenting authors who are under 40 years of age at the time of the abstract submission are eligible for the Best Abstract Award!
- All selected abstracts will be published in Paediatric Nephrology, and all abstracts and EPosters will be published as PDFs on the ESPN website.

Dear colleagues, and dear Friends,
It is our great pleasure to welcome you to the 56th Annual Meeting of the European Society for Paediatric Nephrology (ESPN) in Valencia, Spain. Valencia is a warm, charming and colorful seaside Mediterranean city that receives you with open arms. From ancient times till now, Valencia has been home for different civilizations, cultures and people; enjoy its historic heritage and unique atmosphere!
We envision this annual meeting as a wonderful professional and human experience, combining science, research, expertise, teaching and learning. With the help of our scientific committee, we have prepared a novel, vibrant and rigorous congress program that will drive us through the most recent advances in the field of Pediatric Nephrology. You will have the opportunity to participate in keynote lectures, symposiums, teaching sessions, controversies, and attend the newest presentations as oral abstracts or posters. Further, this year, the collaboration between the ESPN and EWOPA will provide a holistic approach to the management of pediatric patients with kidney disease. All together, and in combination with the activities of the ESPN working groups, the IPNA-ESPN junior master classes, the pre-congress courses and the Physician Resilience Program, will constitute a unique forum for seniors and young pediatric nephrologists, psychologists, nurses and other allied professionals, meeting together at the nice Valencia Conference Centre, surrounded by large green areas, in a city compromised with the environment.
We thank the Council of the ESPN, and other invited international societies such as the ASPN, JSPN, KSPN, AsPNA, AfPNA, ERA, and the Spanish Society of Pediatric Nephrology for their commitment and participation with this annual meeting. We also welcome the IPNA Council and appreciate its meeting celebration in Valencia. Finally, we are grateful to the OIC group for their assistance with this meeting organization.

** Reduced registration fee for ESPN Members. To benefit from the discout, you will need to become an ESPN Member (no other society is eligible for discount) before registering. Membership status will be verified by ESPN. Be aware if your membership is not updated, the “Non-member fee” will be applied.
