• Maximum Number of Words
  2,500 characters (including spaces)

• Tables/Pictures:
  No tables are allowed.
  No pictures are allowed.
• Authors: 
  Authors and institution must be named, the presenter (or presenting author) must be underlined.
• Notification of acceptance:
  All authors will be informed on the status of their submitted abstract by mid-March 2023.

Dear colleagues and friends,

It is an exceptional pleasure to welcome you to the 14th European Congress on Menopause and Andropause.

This congress represented a challenge to the European Menopause and Andropause Society (EMAS) due to the difficulties created by the COVID-19 pandemic. The drawbacks, however, have become an opportunity: we are looking forward to hosting this year’s congress in magnificent Florence as an exclusive live event. This is a unique opportunity to expand our audience and welcome past and new friends from all over the world.

Every effort has been made to prepare a program sensitive to this new era, in which creative standards of care are needed by women and men in their midlife and beyond. The topics are balanced between innovative areas and contemporary issues concerning the many facets of menopause. All these will be presented in formal sessions and more informal formats, like open debates and clinical cases, used with success in our previous meetings. The live format will allow more attendees to engage directly with the speakers during the Q&A sessions.

At EMAS 2023, you will have the opportunity to connect with leading experts, many of whom are clinicians, clinical investigators in trials, key opinion leaders, educators and leading laboratory scientists worldwide.

On top of the scientific content, Florence is an open-air museum, able to offer a different and fascinating show in every season. The historic center, which is very close to the congress venues, is a stage surrounded by the Renaissance architecture of noble palaces, squares and churches.

We thank the Scientific Committee for contributing with so many useful ideas, the Local Committee for facilitating every step thus far, and our Officers and Members of the Board.
