2024年第7届世界儿科胃肠病学、肝病学和营养学大会(WCPGHAN 2024)将于2024年12月4-7日在阿根廷布宜诺斯艾利斯举行,会议由国际儿科胃肠病学、肝病学和营养学学会联盟(FISPGHAN)与拉丁美洲儿科胃肠病学、肝病学和营养学会(LASPGHAN)联合举办。大会组委会诚挚地邀请您出席这一真正的国际性大会,它将汇集来自世界各地的专家,促进和加强儿童胃肠病学、肝病学和营养学领域的全球合作。

Monday, July 1st; Midnight (23:59). GMT -3 hours

Abstract Notifications*

Notifications regarding acceptance, presentation type and allocation in the program, will be sent by the end of August.

 

Rules & Guidelines for Abstract Submission

Please read the submission rules and guidelines before submitting an abstract.

  • Abstracts must be submitted online via the website only.
  • ABSTRACTS SUBMITTED BY EMAIL WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Abstracts must be received by the announced deadline. Abstracts received after the deadline, will not be considered.
  • An abstract can be submitted to the 7th World Congress of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition if it has not been previously accepted for publication as a full paper.  
    • Language: All abstracts should be submitted and presented in clear English with accurate grammar and spelling of a quality suitable for publication.

Presentation Type

Please note: All presentation types are intended to be given in person, in Buenos Aires.  The option is not available to present virtually.  If your abstract is selected for an oral presentation but neither you nor any of your co-authors are able to join us in Buenos Aires, your abstract will be published but the presentation slot will be assigned to another selected abstract.

  • The Scientific Committee will determine whether the abstract will be accepted for presentation and to what kind (oral or poster), with consideration given to the author’s preference.
  • The same person may submit as many abstracts as they like.
  • Presenting authors must be registered participants.
  • Please note: The email used for the person indicated as the presenting author during the submission process, must be the same email used for the presenter during their registration process. If your travel and registration expenses will be covered by someone else but yourself (sponsor) make sure that your email address is included in the registration form.
  • Only abstracts of authors who have paid their registration fees by the deadline indicated in the notification email, will be scheduled for presentation and included for publication.
  • Submission of an abstract acknowledges your acceptance for the abstract to be published in all official World Congress Meeting publications, as deemed appropriate by the World Congress Scientific Committee, including but not limited to, digital publications on the website and the meeting app.  as well as hard copy publications for onsite delegates.
  • The abstracts for the Congress will also be published as an abstract book in the Journal of Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition Reports (JPGNrep). 
  • The presenting author is required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract and agree to its submission, before submitting the abstract.
  • Additional information will be sent to the submitters in due course.
    • Please note: Only the individual identified as the submitter and/or the presenting author will receive notifications regarding the submission and all meeting communications thereafter.
  • Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest: Abstract submitters will be required to disclose any conflict of interests in the submission form.

Guidelines for Submission

​Before you begin, please prepare the following information:

  • ​Presenting author’s contact details:
    • Full first and family name(s)
    •  Email address
    •  Affiliation details: department, institution / hospital, city state (if relevant), Country
    •  Phone number
  • Co-authors’ details
  • Abstract title– must be in UPPER CASE and limited to 25 words. Please submit symbols as words (i.e., not $ but dollars).
  • Abstract text– limited to 350 words including acknowledgments. (Please Note: word count is affected when graphs/tables are included).
  • Abstract topic– select the abstract topic per the list of topics.

  • Images– 1 image may be included with your submission: The maximum file size of each image is 500 KB. The maximum pixel size of the graph/image is 600(w) x 800(h) pixel. You may upload images in JPG, GIF or PNG format. Please Note: images do not affect the word count.
  • The abstract must be structured into the following sections as given in the template:
    • Objectives and Study
    • Methods
    • Results
    • Conclusions 
  • Please note: You do not need to enter the abstract title or authors names again in the above sections, as this information will have been gathered previously; this will add to your word count.
  • Abstracts must contain data and meet international ethical standards.
  • Abbreviations should be defined.
  • Use generic names of drugs. The presentation must be balanced and contain no commercial or promotional content.
  • Submissions may not contain patient names, hospital ID numbers or other identifying information.
  • Please ensure that your abstract does not contain spelling, grammatical or scientific errors. No corrections are possible after the submission deadline. The abstract text, as well as the abstract title and the list of authors will be reproduced exactly as submitted. No proof reading will be done.
  • Click on the SUBMIT button at the end of the process in order to save your abstract. You may log in to the system later to make changes to your abstract, up to the submission deadline. After the deadline, changes will not be possible; this includes changing or adding co-authors.
  • You will receive an abstract reference number via email after you have submitted your abstract. Please refer to this abstract number in all correspondence regarding the abstract.
  • Please contact us by email abstract@wcpghan2024.org if you have not received confirmation that your abstract has been submitted.
  • Please do not submit multiple copies of the same abstract.

Abstract Submitters’ Declaration

During abstract submission you will be asked to confirm that you agree to the following:

  1. I confirm that I previewed this abstract, and that all information is correct. I accept that the content of this abstract cannot be modified or corrected after final submission, and I am aware that it will be published as submitted.
  2. Submission of the abstract constitutes the consent of all authors to publication (e.g. Conference website, programs, other promotions, etc.)
  3. The Abstract Submitter warrants and represents that no part of the information and content provided by her/him (Hereafter: the "Content") to WCPGHN  2024 and Fase20 (Hereafter: the "Organizers"), nor the publication of any such Content by the Organizers, on the internet or otherwise infringes any third party rights, including but not limited to privacy rights and/or intellectual property rights.
  4. The Abstract Submitter grants the Organizers a copyright license to reproduce, publish, translate, distribute, and display the text of the Content on a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable nonexclusive basis.
  5. I herewith confirm that the contact details saved in this system are those of the presenting author, who will be notified about the status of the abstract. The presenting author is responsible for informing the other authors about the status of the abstract. The submitting author may request to be copied on abstract correspondence.
  6. I understand that the presenting author must be a registered participant.
  7. The Organizers reserve the right to remove from publication and/or presentation an abstract which does not comply with the above.
  8. I understand that I must select a specific Theme, Topic and/or Sub-Topic for my abstract allocation.  Although the Committee will work hard to honor this selection, this cannot be guaranteed.  The Committee reserves the right to change the Theme, Topic or Sub-Topic under which the abstract was originally submitted.

My name is Daniel D’Agostino and I am the President of the 7th World Congress of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, organized by the Latin American Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition which will take place in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2024

Now that the world is recovering from the impact of the COVID 19 pandemic, we are very excited about the organization of the next Congress, so it would be a great pleasure to welcome you to Buenos Aires.

We look forward to meeting you again in person in a new World Congress of our specialty.  It will be a great opportunity for those of you who have never been to Argentina to visit our beautiful country and for those who have, to return. For the colleagues who can't come, our state-of-the-art technology will allow you to navigate from one session to another with ease. 

Buenos Aires is a big cosmopolitan city, with an attractive cultural life, excellent food and wine, and a vast array of hotels for every budget. Within a couple of hours´ flight, you will be able to visit Iguazu falls, Bariloche and its lakes, the Andes mountains, Mendoza, home of the best wineries, the Perito Moreno glacier or the magnificent red hills of Jujuy, among other breathtaking landscapes.

IMPORTANT: No registration will be processed without simultaneous payment.

Important: in order to send you the certificates stating your attendance to the Congress, we need you to PROVIDE us with your complete data and email.

Personal access

Once the registration process is complete, you will receive a confirmation email with your username and password. By entering this data in the “Private area” section you will access to your private area where you can consult and manage your activities in the event.

Registration changes and cancellation policy

Name changes

  • Can only be made until November 26th, 2024. There will be no additional charge. No changes will be accepted after this date.
  • To make a name change, you must complete the registration form (pdf) with the data of the new conference participant and send it to the Conference Secretariat by e-mail registrations@wcpghan2024.org 

Cancellation

  • Cancellations must be made in writing and communicated to the following e-mail registrations@wcpghan2024.org 
  • Until October 22th, 2024: The registration fee will be refunded, discounting 25% for administrative expenses.
  • From October 23th, 2024: the cancellation of the registration will entail the loss of 100% of the registration fee.
  • All refunds will be made after the conference and must be requested before it starts. Once started, no change or refund will be accepted.
