2024年第12届世界生物材料大会(WBC 2024)将于2024年5月26日至31日在韩国大邱举行，会议由韩国生物材料学会与国际生物材料科学与工程学会联合会(IUSBSE)联合组织。

国际生物材料科学与工程学会联合会(IUSBSE)是一个非政治性、非赢利性的学术组织，其前身为于1980年成立的国际生物材料学会联络委员会（International Liaison Committee of Societies for Biomaterials，ILC），1998年正式更名。IUSBSE的宗旨是宣促进国际生物材料科学与工程、教育与管理、产业等领域的交流与合作，选举国际生物材料科学与工程Fellow，组织四年一次的世界生物材料大会，促进生物材料、组织工程与再生医学的发展。1992年，中国生物材料界作为观察员加入国际生物材料学会联络委员会（ILC），1996年，中国生物材料学会（时为中国生物材料委员会）正式加入联合会，成为联合会的六个奠基成员学会之一。IUSBSE目前由澳大利亚、韩国、加拿大、美国、南美、欧洲、日本、印度、中国、中国台北等学会组成。——未经本站许可，禁止复制摘录本站任何内容-领域国际医学会议网。

Submission Guidelines

• The presenting author is allowed to submit up to two abstracts.
• Representative who wants to submit abstract should create an ID before submission.
• Abstracts should be written in English and should be submitted electronically using the online system only.
• Abstracts will not be edited. Authors are responsible for any spelling, grammatical or typographical errors contained in the submitted abstracts.
• Do not include image/photos/figures, tables and references in the abstract.
• Use standard abbreviations in parentheses after the full word appears at the first time.
• Use sentence-style capitalization (capitalize only the first letter of the first word in the title, proper nouns, and the first word following a colon).
• The preference for oral or poster presentation should be indicated by the applicant during the submission process, however the final decision on the presentation format will be made by the Scientific Program Committee.
• Successful abstract submissions will be acknowledged with an electronic receipt.

Notification of Abstract Acceptance and Author Registration

All abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee and selection will be noticed on December 15, 2023. You will receive an email to confirm that your abstract has been accepted and whether it will be an Oral or Poster presentation. You will be provided an abstract reference number which should be quoted in all correspondence. Once the abstract is accepted, the presenting author should register for the congress and present the work at the congress. If the first author cannot register for the conference, at least one of the authors must register for the congress and the author details should be notified to the secretariat at info.wbc2024@gmail.com.

You will receive an acknowledgement of your abstract submission right after the online submission. If you do not receive anything, please send an email to info.wbc2024@gmail.com to make sure we have received your abstract.

It is my great honor and pleasure to invite you to the 12th World Biomaterials Congress (WBC), which will be held in Daegu, South Korea, May 26-31, 2024. WBC is a world-wide highlighting event to provide with a fascinating opportunity, where the participating experts can gather and share the latest information and knowledge in the diverse areas of biomaterials research. The venue for the event, Daegu, is the third-largest city in Korea, rich in cultural heritage sites and blessed with beautiful nature. We are looking forward to seeing you all in WBC 2024 to celebrate this momentous period of knowledge and discovery in biomaterials science, and also to share an enjoyable and memorable moment in a historic city, Daegu, South Korea.
