2024年第33届亚太肝脏研究协会(APASL)年会将于2024年3月27-31日在日本京都举行，会议由亚太肝脏研究协会(APASL)组织。APASL年会(亚太肝病年会)是亚太地区肝病学领域最具影响力的学术会议，大会科学计划涵盖肝脏学的所有方面，是与会者分享经验、知识和造福亚太地区人民的重要平台。大会组委会正在制定一项全面而又令人兴奋的科学计划，以反映当前最先进的技术和最具争议性的问题；众多世界知名的演讲者和代表将分享他们的专业知识、卓越成就和创新理念。

• The Scientific Committee of APASL 2024 Kyoto will only accept original scientific material, which has not been published before. However, abstracts presented at local, regional or national meetings may be submitted.
• Abstracts should be submitted in English.
• The abstract is requested to start with the Background, continue with the Methods, Results, and finalized with the Conclusions.
• The abstract must not exceed 250 words.
• The category (one or two) defining the abstract must be chosen and marked on the form.
• Preferred type of the presentation (oral, poster) must be marked on the form.
• If there is any graphs, tables/statics or pictures, please send them to the congress secretariat info@apasl2024kyoto.org attached by jpg file, with your email subject as “figures for submission No. xxx (your submission no.)” after abstract online-submission has been completed.
• Maximum size of any images is 1024 x 768 pixels.
• Case report is acceptable.
• The presenting author is required to complete conference pre-registration until December 31, 2023.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, it is a great pleasure to announce that the 33rd Annual Meeting of the Asian Pacific Association for the Study of the Liver “APASL 2024 Kyoto - The Center of Hepatology” will be held on March 27-31, 2024 in Kyoto, Japan. We are delighted to welcome you to the ancient city of Kyoto when the cherry blossoms will be in full bloom.

APASL was established in 1978 to conduct research on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of liver and biliary tract diseases for the benefit of people living in the Asia Pacific region, and to contribute to the development of medical science and the improvement of medical care. The Asia Pacific region has the world's largest population and 70% of the world's liver disease patients are concentrated in this region.

“APASL 2024 Kyoto - The Center of Hepatology” will provide a forum for the exchange of cutting-edge knowledge and experience in all aspects of the liver field. This will be the second APASL Annual Meeting to take place in Kyoto since it was held in 2007 with 2,937 participants from 65 countries. The APASL Annual Meeting in Tokyo in 2016 had 4,105 participants from 79 countries. 1,371 attended from Japan and 2,734 from overseas, including 537 from China, 296 from the U.S., 267 from Taiwan, and 160 from Pakistan. The APASL Annual Meeting to be held in 2024 is expected to draw 6,000 participants from 80 countries.
