1.Abstracts MUST be submitted electronically via the online submission system by the given deadline of Wednesday, 4 January 2023.

Abstracts received via fax, e-mail or received after the deadline will not be accepted and therefore will not be considered for the programme or publication.

2.Abstracts need to be submitted into the following topics:

• ATOPIC AND OTHER DERMATITIDES
• AUTOIMMUNE DISEASES
• BLISTERING/ICHTHYOSIS
• GENODERMATOSES
• INFECTIOUS
• INFLAMMATORY
• MISCELLANEOUS
• NEONATAL
• NEOPLASTIC / TUMORAL
• PIGMENTARY DISORDERS, NAEVI AND OTHER MOSAICS
• TREATMENT
• VASCULAR ANOMALIES & OVERGROWTH

3.A preferred presentation method should be selected during the submission from the following options:

• Oral Presentation
• Poster Presentation 

Please note, oral presentations will be presented mainly in the Oral Communications Parallel Sessions, possibly also in sessions The Training Program and Future Leaders.

4.Once the abstract is “submitted” it can be changed until the Abstract Submission Deadline of 4 January 2023.

5.All abstracts will be reviewed by the ESPD Scientific Committee who will consider its formal aspects and the content. They will decide which abstracts will be accepted.

6.Accepted abstracts will be published in the online Abstract Book. Abstracts not suitable for display will be rejected. Please have your abstract checked for correct spelling, punctuation, grammar and formal structure. The organiser reserves the right to edit abstracts if necessary prior to the publication in the online ESPD Congress Abstract Book.

7.All presenting authors will receive an acceptance/rejection notification via e-mail by 31 January 2023.

8.All presenting authors are obliged to register by Tuesday, 21 February 2023.

9.All abstracts must be written in English.

10.The abstract title is limited by 20 words and must be submitted using the sentence case, which is the lower case except where capital letters are commonly used (eg. 'My abstract about ESPD 2023 will be presented in Málaga').

11.Up to 20 authors can be submitted for one abstract (including the presenting author).

The presenting author is selected first; other authors can be added only when the presenting author is submitted. However, the author order can be changed if needed by swopping the names in the list of the authors. The first name is considered to be the main author.

12.The maximum abstract length is 300 words, no pictures allowed.

13.All submissions should follow the following structure: Objectives, Method, Results and Discussion

14.The number of submitted abstracts per one submitter/author is not limited.

Registration fees

ESPD 2023 will be held as a hybrid congress, with both in-person and virtual options available.

All above fees include applicable VAT.

Please register for your preferred way of attendance in the online system. The same fees apply for in-person and virtual attendance. In case of a change of your registration (from one type of attendance to another) an extra fee of 30 EUR will be charged after 15 March (after the Early registration deadline).

Accompanying person fee is applicable for in-person attendance only.

In-person fee: local 21% VAT applies

Virtual fee:
Delegates/recipients of the service from the EU with a valid VAT number are subject to reverse charge system and the fee is with 0% VAT (to be paid by the recipient in his/her country). 
VAT is shifted to recipient, article 44 and 196 EU VAT Directive.
Valid VAT Number will be requested and validated during the online registration process.

Delegates/recipients of the service from a country outside of the EU, the fee is with 0% VAT. 

Delegates/recipients of the service from the EU who is not a VAT payer, the fee is including VAT.

In-person Registration Fee Includes

• Access to all scientific sessions, the posters area, and the Exhibition (HCPs only)
• Access to on demand sessions for 2 months after the event
• Final programme
• Welcome Cocktail on the first day
• Lunch is not included in the registration fee

Accompanying Person Fee Includes

• Attendance of the Welcome Cocktail

Virtual Fee Includes

• Access to all scientific sessions, the posters, and the virtual Exhibition (HCPs only)
• Access to on demand sessions for 2 months after the event
