The European Congress of Endocrinology is the European Society of Endocrinology’s premier event, attracting over 4,600 international delegates each year across the spectrum of endocrinology. Abstract submission is open to ESE members and ESE non-members.

Please note: Authors can be listed as thepresenteron a maximum of 3 abstract submissions. 

Accepted abstracts will be presented as Posters, ePosters, Rapid Communications or Oral Communications, and notifications of acceptance or rejection will be sent to submitting authors in March 2023 (before the Early Bird Registration Deadline).

All accepted abstracts will also be published in Endocrine Abstracts – a fully open access and citable collection of all the abstracts presented at ECE 2023.

There are two options for registration at ECE 2023, allowing you to attend either virtually or in person in Istanbul. You must choose ‘ePoster’ as your preferred presentation type, as this will not require you to attend to present a poster in person.

Our registration rates for ECE 2023 are outlined below and NEW for 2023 is our Super Early Bird rate, be sure to register before 20 March to benefit from this reduced rate.

Reduced rates are available for:

• ESE Members who are Early Career, Students* (if not allocated a complimentary place) or Retired 
• Non-Members who are Early Career, Students* (if not allocated a complimentary place) or Retired
• ESE Members from an ESE Affiliated Society who are from low or middle income countries. Your country's income status can be checked on the World Bank website.

Please check your membership status and category. If your membership qualifies, this option will automatically become available for booking.

*Student rate:  We are pleased to offer a number of complimentary 'Student' registrations. Please note Student registrations are limited and are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. Once all student spaces are allocated, the ESE Member/Non-Member Early Career/Reduced rates will apply. This rate applies, whether you are an Undergraduate or full time Master science or nursing student or Medical student who have not yet selected endocrinology or internal medicine as a speciality. To show eligibility for this registration category you will be required to provide written proof of your student status. Please download and complete this form which will need to be uploaded as you register. ESE Student members are encouraged to register under this rate. 

Reduced rate In-Training/Early Career: People who are studying full time for an academic qualification. This does not include those studying part-time whilst working in another role (e.g. MD students). ESE Early Career members should register under the In-Training rate.

Speaker: If you are speaking as part of a Rapid or Oral Communications session, please choose the participant type relevant to you. Please do not select Speaker/Chair as this participant type is reserved for Invited Speakers.
