All ASRS member physicians are invited to submit abstracts for the 41st Annual Meeting, a forum for retina specialists from around the world to share the most recent scientific concepts, techniques, and research. General abstract submissions are open until 11:59 PM Central Time on Monday, January 23, 2023.

SUBMIT AN ABSTRACT
Regular and International Members can submit a maximum of ONE abstract as first author; choose either paper/paper-on-demand OR poster only. Additionally, Regular and International Members may submit one case and two films. Ophthalmology Resident Members may submit only one poster abstract.
- Substitute presenters are NOT allowed. If the first author cannot attend the meeting, the presentation must be withdrawn.
- Only lead authors are required to submit a financial disclosure since they (and not co-authors) are considered to be in control of the educational content. Co-author name
Nonmember physicians may submit an abstract in the Scientific Poster category only. Non-members should log onto their ASRS profile (first time users click "Create an Account") to submit a poster abstract. NOTE: employees and owners of ineligible companies may not submit a poster. Companies that are ineligible to be accredited in the ACCME System (ineligible companies) are those whose primary business is producing, marketing, selling, re-selling, or distributing healthcare products used by or on patients.
IMPORTANT: January 3, 2023 is the last day to apply for membership to be eligible to submit an abstract for the Annual Meeting. All required documents and references must be received by this date in order for your application to be considered complete.
The preferred abstract for podium presentation will have the following characteristics:
- Novel and clinically relevant research not previously presented at a major eye meeting
- Well-designed study with large number of cases, when indicated by the topic
- Sound statistical analysis, when indicated
- Conclusion accurately reflects results and takes into account study limitations
Who may register and attend
- Members in good standing of the American Society of Retina Specialists
- Residents and non-members (fellows-in-training, physicians and non-physicians) who are approved by the ASRS Credentials Committee.

Registration fees (live and virtual) are fixed and cannot be broken for partial attendance of days or sessions, or non-attendance of social events.
Live Meeting: The registration fee (regular and corporate) includes name badge, mobile app access with live stream feed and access to recording for one month post-meeting, paper and poster sessions, paper on demand offerings, film festival, exhibit hall tradeshow, Welcome Reception, refreshment breaks, daily lunch, and Gala.
Adult guest fees include Welcome Reception and Gala.
Child guest fees (ages 4–17) include Welcome Reception and Gala. NOTE: children under age 4 may attend at no charge; however, they must be registered.
Virtual Meeting: The registration fee (regular and corporate) includes mobile app access with live stream feed and access to recording for one month post-meeting, as well as papers on demand, films, and e-posters. NOTE: only the scientific symposia in the General Session Room will be live streamed and recorded. The following events will not be available via the live feed:
- Subspecialty Review Courses and International Symposia
- Section Lunches
- Poster Q&A
- WinR Case Conference
- All receptions/dinners
The mobile app (which includes the live stream) will be distributed to both live and virtual attendees approximately one week prior to the meeting. A recording of the live stream will be available to registered attendees for one month after the meeting with CME Credit.
