2023年亚太脑卒中大会(APSC2023)暨香港中风学会年会将于2023年12月1-3日在中国香港举行，本次会议由香港中风学会和亚太卒中组织(APSO)共同主办。亚太脑卒中大会是在亚太地区不同国家举行的年度国际性会议，来自世界各地的神经科学专家，特别是脑卒中和血管神经学专家将在学术和研究的氛围宣中一起分享交流经验。由于中风是导致死亡和长期残疾的主要原因之一，APSC将在当前和未来的中风和相关疾病管理方向等方面提供帮助指导，以改善患者的预后。

Guidelines:

• Abstract must be submitted in English.
• Word limit for abstract title is 50 words.
• Word limit for abstract content is 300 words.
• Each abstract cannot contain more than 1 table / graphic / representative figure (if any) as supporting document.
• There is no limit of number of abstract submission.
• Abstract cannot be edited once submitted.
• If applicants wish to withdraw the abstract, a written request to the Conference Secretariat by email is required.
• Applicants are recommended to organize the body of the abstract as follows:
  • Background
  • Objective
  • Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusion(s)
• The Organizing Committee reserves the right to reject and/or to edit the abstract.
• Applicants are invited to state his/her preferred presentation format (i.e. Oral Presentation OR Poster Presentation). The Organizing Committee of the APSC2023 reserves the right to accept or refuse an abstract, to designate abstracts to either oral or poster presentation, and to choose a suitable session for the abstract. Applicants' preference of the type of presentation and theme will be taken into account.
• Applicants who haven't register for APSC 2023 when submitting the abstracts, are required to register for APSC 2023 upon receiving the abstract acceptance notice from the Organizer.
• Applicants shall be the designated corresponding authors for the abstract and all communications regarding the abstract (submission, review, presentation etc.) will be sent to the email address they used to set up the account.
• Applicants are required to input 3 key words related to your abstract (e.g. Anticoagulation, Epidemiology, Thrombolysis, etc.).

• APSO Best Free Paper Award (10 quotas)
• Best Young Investigator’s Award (5 quotas)
• Best Presentation Award (10 quotas)

All awardees will be granted a complimentary quota each for joining the Asia Pacific Stroke Conference 2024.

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

On behalf of the Local Organizing Committee and the Hong Kong Stroke Society, we cordially invite you to join us at the Asia Pacific Stroke Conference 2023 (APSC 2023), which will to be held in Hong Kong from Friday to Sunday, 1 - 3 December 2023 at the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks. 

Although we have adapted to virtual conferences in the past three years due to the pandemic, we are hopeful that by December 2023 the situation will allow us to hold a face-to-face Conference.  The Organizing Committee is carefully preparing the Conference with all our best endeavours to offer an excellent scientific programme.  The main theme of the Conference is “Advancing stroke care in times of change” and we will explore the current developments and advances in a variety of specialty areas within the sphere of stroke.  We aim to bring together a multi-disciplinary group of researchers, scientists, clinicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals from across the international community to exchange ideas, acquire new knowledge and be inspired on stroke-related subjects.

The 3-day conference will feature keynote lectures, focused symposia, plenary sessions, free paper presentations, poster presentations and networking sessions that will undoubtedly enrich knowledge and stimulate thinking.  Opportunities are also provided in the Exhibition for leading companies in the industry to showcase their latest technologies and products. 

Hong Kong is a metropolitan and information hub customized with vibrant lifestyle, beautiful scenery, and mixed cultures from the east and west.  Hence, the fun of the Conference will continue with our fabulous social events.  From the traditional Chinese and Asian culture to the modern westernized design, Hong Kong has plenty of excitement to offer you and your companion.
