AACR-NCI-EORTC International Conference on Molecular Targets and Cancer Therapeutics

Venue: Hynes Convention Center Boston, Massachusetts, USA

Hosted by the American Association for Cancer Research, the National Cancer Institute, and the European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer, the 2023 Molecular Targets and Cancer Therapeutics conference will return to the Hynes Convention Center in Boston.  This program attracts 1,500-2,500 academics, scientists, and pharmaceutical industry representatives from across the globe to discuss innovations in drug development, target selection, the impact of new discoveries in cellular and molecular biology, and early clinical trials. Innovative, targeted therapeutics are discovered through the rapid advances in our understanding of the molecular basis of cancer. Continued clinical progress in cancer treatments is accomplished through the conduct of translational research projects, efficient new drug development, and the execution of large, prospective, randomized, multicenter cancer clinical trials. This requires a joint and global approach to exchange information early in the development process.

RELEASE DATE FOR REGULAR ABSTRACTS AND LATE-BREAKING ABSTRACTS 

Abstract titles and authors (no data) will be available on the AACR website in mid-September.

All accepted regular abstracts (submitted for the July 10 deadline) are scheduled to be released to registrants via the conference app/Proceedings at 12:00 pm U.S. ET, on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, with the exception of abstracts selected for inclusion in the AACR press program.

All accepted late-breaking abstracts (submitted for the August 30 deadline) will be released to registrants via the conference app/Proceedings at 12:00 pm U.S. ET, on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, with the exception of abstracts selected for inclusion in the AACR press program.

Any abstracts (regular and/or late-breaking) selected for inclusion in the AACR press program will be released at a date and time to be announced closer to the meeting.

Abstracts will not be available before these dates.

NOTIFICATION OF ABSTRACT STATUS

All individuals listed as ABSTRACT PRESENTERS will be notified of acceptance or rejection by email approximately four weeks after the abstract submission deadline. Notices and instructions will be sent to the email address provided at the time of abstract submission. If an abstract is not selected for presentation, the presenter may request a full refund of the registration fee by contacting the AACR Meetings Department at meetings@aacr.org.

PRESENTATION AND PUBLICATION

Abstracts selected for presentation during the meeting (poster or oral) will be made available to conference registrants as noted above. Every effort will be made to reproduce the content of the abstracts as submitted, except in certain circumstances where changes may be made to comply with AACR style. Abstracts will be published as an online supplement to an AACR journal within 1-3 months of the conference.

All short-talk presentations and poster presentations are to be made in-person at the meeting in Boston. Virtual or remote presentations are not available at this meeting. Instructions for those invited to present posters and/or short-talks will be sent to the PRESENTER noted in the AACR online abstract submission service.
