The Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer’s (SITC) 37th Annual Meeting & Pre-Conference Programs (SITC 2022) will take place on Nov. 8–12, 2022, at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center in Boston, MA and virtually.
The SITC Annual Meeting & Pre-Conference Programs brings together stakeholders across the cancer immunotherapy field to advance the science, discover breakthroughs and educate the world on cancer immunotherapy. As the largest conference solely focused on cancer immunotherapy, the Annual Meeting & Pre-Conference Programs provides international leaders from academia, regulatory and government agencies, as well as industry representatives with a multidisciplinary educational and interactive environment focused on improving outcomes for all cancer patients.

Poster Presentation Dates
All odd-numbered posters will be presented on Thursday, Nov. 10, 2022, while even-numbered posters will be presented on Friday, Nov. 11, 2022.
On Thursday, Nov. 10 posters will be on display from 9 a.m.–9 p.m. EST, with the presenting authors required to be at their posters during lunch (11:40 a.m.–1:10 p.m.) and during the Poster Reception (7:30–9 p.m.) Additional hours encouraged: Afternoon break: (2:55–3:20 p.m.).
On Friday, Nov. 11 posters will be on display from 9 a.m.–8:30 p.m. EST, with the presenting authors required to be at their posters during lunch (11:55 a.m.–1:25 p.m.) and during the Poster Reception (7–8:30 p.m.) Additional hours encouraged: Morning break (9:10–9:35 a.m.) and afternoon break (4:05–4:20 p.m.)
Abstract Types
Regular Abstracts
The time frame to submit your latest research in the cancer immunotherapy field to the 37th Annual Meeting & Pre-Conference Programs (SITC 2022) for consideration as an oral abstract presentation, rapid oral abstract presentation, and/or poster abstract presentation is May 4, 2022, until 5 p.m. PDT on July 28, 2022.
Late-Breaking Abstracts
Late-Breaking abstract (LBA) submission is solely for abstracts with late-breaking data and not for abstracts submitted “late”. The late-breaking abstract deadline is not intended to be an extension of the general submission deadline.
All LBA application submissions are due by 5 p.m. PDT on July 28, 2022, to be eligible for the LBA submission period. Applications will be reviewed and all submitters will be notified if they qualify to submit a late-breaking abstract during the submission period from Aug. 18, 2022, to 5 p.m. PDT on Aug. 30, 2022. If an application does not qualify for late-breaking abstract submission, the submitter will be notified by Aug. 9, 2022, and will have the opportunity to submit a regular abstract by 5 p.m. PDT on Aug. 12, 2022.
LBAs are considered for, but not limited to, oral abstract presentations during the LBA Sessions from 11:10–11:40 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 10, 2022 and 11:25–11:55 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 11, 2022.
Young Investigator Award Abstracts
Regular abstracts with primary and presenting authors that are students, postdoctoral research fellows, clinical fellows, or junior faculty with three or fewer years on staff and are current SITC members, may be eligible to receive a Young Investigator Award. Young Investigator Award abstracts require a letter of recommendation as well as additional information regarding the percentage of contribution by the primary and presenting author.
Those selected for the Presidential Travel Award will be invited to give an oral abstract presentation during the Presidential Session from 1:25–2:50 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 11, 2022
