ESICM LIVES 2022 - 35th Annual Congress of the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine

ESICM’s annual congress, LIVES, has become one of the largest and most prestigious gatherings of intensive care personnel worldwide, attracting over 6,000 physicians, anaesthetists, trainees and nursing and allied health professionals every year, from every continent and 97 different countries.
A diverse faculty of more than 300 international speakers will be joining the Society’s 35th annual congress in Paris from 22-26 October 2022.
The congress offers interactive discussion and debates, Master Classes, demonstrations of the latest technology, simulation exercises, new scientific evidence and advances.

General Instructions
- Abstracts must be submitted in English and should not exceed 3,000 characters, including spaces (abstract title, list of authors and references not included in this count).
- Images and tables may be included in the abstract.
- Abstracts should not include data that is already published.
- Abstracts should be as informative as possible and should be adequately ordered in the following sequence and structure:

OBJECTIVES
METHODS
RESULTS
CONCLUSIONS
REFERENCE(S)
GRANT ACKNOWLEDGMENT
- All accepted abstracts will be presented in the e-poster form. A limited number of accepted abstracts will also be selected by the Scientific Committee for oral presentation. Instructions for e-posters and oral presentations will be sent to the corresponding authors after the review process.
- Preference will be given to new and/or ongoing work.
- Abstracts are to be submitted using the online Abstract Submission System only. ESICM does not accept submission of abstracts by mail, fax or e-mail.
- Abstracts should not contain proprietary or confidential information.
- The presenting author must be registered for the Congress in order for his / her abstract to be accepted.
- Please do not submit multiple copies of the same abstract.
