Dear Colleague,

I would like to personally invite you to the next joint Annual Meeting of the Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer (MASCC) and the International Society of Oral Oncology (ISOO), which will take place virtually, from June 24 to 26, 2021.

The MASCC/ISOO Annual Meeting is the pre-eminent multidisciplinary conference on supportive care in cancer. It covers the range of problems experienced by cancer patients as a result of the disease and its treatments. Topics address all stages of cancer from diagnosis, through treatment, rehabilitation, survivorship, palliative and end of life care.

The main themes of the meeting will be COVID-19, cardio-oncology, models of supportive care, and bioethics. The meeting will consist of three days of live content, with each day operating on a different time zone. In addition, there will be multiple on-demand sessions, and videos of accepted abstracts (“e-posters”).

The on-demand sessions will include the usual parallel sessions (organized by the Study Groups), joint sessions with MASCC Affiliates and Partners, and “Meet the Expert sessions” (including writing for the journal, applying for MASCC designation as a Center of Excellence in Supportive Care). There will also be remote social events, and other opportunities to network with colleagues.

* All trainees and students must provide a letter from the Director of the Program/Supervisor indicating they are a full-time student that is not full-time employed. Students who are full-time employed will not be eligible.

** The Patient Advocate category is exclusively available for a defined number of Patient Advocates whom must submit a resume or bio-sketch at registration. Individuals registering under this category either work or volunteer for national or international not-for-profit patient advocacy organizations that:

• Demonstrate a charitable mission and engage in patient advocacy
• Provide programs, services, information, and/or support for people affected by cancer
• Have a nonprofessional membership and do not offer continuing medical education (CME) or scientific programs for professionals
• Please note that individuals registered under this category are not eligible to receive continuing education credit for their attendance at the annual meeting
• Additionally, advocates not affiliated with a national or international not-for-profit organization may also be eligible to register at the patient advocate rate, based on their advocacy role and experience. Please submit a resume or bio-sketch when registering.
