Abstract Submission Guidelines
Author warranty: Persons submitting an abstract to ISAKOS do so with the understanding that they and all the authors listed on the abstract will abide by the guidelines, conditions, deadlines, policies and decisions of the ISAKOS Board of Directors and Program Committee.
- The deadline for abstract submission is February 15, 2021 at 11:59 P.M. Pacific Standard Time. Abstracts will not be accepted after that time.
- Abstracts must be submitted from the ISAKOS account of the Presenting Author.
- Authors do not have to be ISAKOS members to submit an abstract.
- There is no limit to the number of abstracts that can be submitted for consideration; however each presenting author will be limited to no more than two paper presentations during the ISAKOS Congress.
- If the abstract is accepted for podium presentation, all presenters must speak in English, and be prepared to answer questions from the audience in English.
- All presenters, co-authors, faculty members, etc. who will attend the Congress are expected to register for the meeting and pay all registration and travel costs. No exceptions are made. If attendance is dependent on outside funding, please secure financial assistance before submitting an abstract.
- Abstracts are only accepted for consideration via the online abstract application form. Abstracts submitted in any other fashion will not be considered for presentation.
- The ISAKOS Program Committee will make final decisions on the mode of presentation however; efforts will be made to comply with the stated preference, paper/podium or e-poster presentation.
- Presenting Authors must complete a Financial Disclosure Statement and an American Food and Drug Administration statement.
*Although ISAKOS is an international society, it receives continuing medical education accreditation and is planned and implemented with the essential areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). ISAKOS does not view the existence of disclosed interest or investments as necessarily implying bias or decreasing the value of the presentation. These disclosures will not be seen or taken into consideration when the abstract is considered for presentation.
- Presenting Authors must complete a Copyright License Agreement so the chosen abstracts can be published in Journal of ISAKOS; the ISAKOS final program; the ISAKOS Congress proceedings; and on the ISAKOS and Journal of ISAKOS websites.

Throughout ISAKOS 2021: Global, participants will have the opportunity to chat and discuss with faculty during presentations and live discussions. Registrants also will gain online access to on-demand symposia and lectures, plus over 1,000 e-posters and paper presentations. **Allied Health and Resident/Fellow Registrants must provide proof of status prior to picking up badge onsite. Those who are unable to provide proof of status will be asked to pay the full registration price. A Resident is categorized as a postgraduate physician receiving specialized clinical training in a hospital. A Fellow is categorized as a board-qualified specialist pursuing subspecialty training, not to be confused with a member of a learned society or a graduate student holding a position in a university or college. Resident/Fellow Registrants must enter their Fellowship / Residency information on the contact page.
***Exhibitor representative must provide proof of affiliation (i.e. a business card) with the exhibiting company and a photo ID in order to receive their badge. Badges will not be given to anyone other than the individual named on the badge. Non-exhibiting personnel may register at the Non-Exhibitor Company Representative rate of US $2,500 and only with ISAKOS approval.
