Boston meeting further postponed to 2022
Dear ICMRBS Colleagues,
With the health and safety of our attendees and community in mind and more uncertainty on the horizon due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the ICMRBS 2020 Organizers in conjunction with the ICMRBS Council has decided to postpone the XXIXth to July 18 - 23, 2021. The venue, Westin Copley Place in Boston, Massachusetts will remain the same.
We are saddened by the need for this decision, as the opportunity to present your science and make new connections is a valuable part of meeting face to face. However, your safety and health is the first priority.
What the postponement of XXIXth ICMRBS to July 18-23, 2021 means:
Refunds For 2020 Conference Registration. Any registrations already paid will be refunded in full within the next week. We will re-open a new registration for the postponed conference in June 2020.
Hotel Reservations at the Westin Copley Place. If you have already reserved a guest room at the Westin Copley for August 2020, please cancel your reservation without penalty at your earliest convenience. Cancellation instructions were included in your reservation confirmation message. If you need assistance, please contact icmrbs@sciencemanagers.com. NEW reservation link will be posted to the Venue-Hotel page in June.
Submitted Abstracts. Poster and oral abstracts submitted for the conference will remain on file and available for review/consideration for the postponed meeting. You may edit your submitted abstract at any time by returning to the online submission at www.icmrbs2020.org. We also can assist you to withdraw completely so that you may make a new submission in the future. Please contact icmrbs@sciencemanagers.com for assistance.
Founders Medal 2020. A 2020 recipient will still be selected. The 2020 recipient will be honored at the postponed 2021 meeting. The new deadline for nominations is May 22. Information about the Founders Medal and nomination instructions may be found here.
Program for the Postponed Conference in 2021. We hope to keep the existing program in place to the greatest degree possible. In the coming weeks we will work with our planned plenary and invited speakers to confirm their participation.
What about the 2022 ICMRBS? The XXXth ICMRBS will continue as planned in 2022 in Seoul, South Korea.

Deadline for all ICMRBS XXIX poster and talk abstracts is now March 19, 2021
Notifications will be sent the week of April 30, 2021.
Conference Registration for the ICMRBS XXIX in Boston
Conference registration fees include access to all conference sessions (orals, posters, workshops, exhibits), welcome reception on Sunday evening, coffee breaks, and poster session refreshments. The conference registration fee does not include the banquet. Banquet tickets are sold separately for an additional cost.

Early-Bird Registration Deadline is June 30. After June 30 rates increase by $75.
Regular Conference Registration: $600 early-bird | $675 late (after June 30)
Post-doc* Conference Registration: $500 early-bird | $575 late (after June 30)
*Qualified post-docs are within two years of first appointment.
Student** Conference Registration: $300 early-bird | $375 late (after June 30)
**Student must be enrolled as a full-time student at the time of the conference.
Cancellation Policy
If you wish to cancel your registration, please be sure to notify the Conference Office by email or fax immediately. The following cancellation fee will apply based upon the date when notification of cancellation is received by the Conference Office.
Until August 3, 2020: Refund of fees paid less $50 cancellation fee.
After August 3, 2020: No refunds
