The ESHG2021 conference has 3 types of acceptance for submissions:
- Oral Presentation: to be presented in a live concurrent or plenary session on the virtual platform
- Live Poster: to be presented in one of the “viewing with authors” sessions on the virtual platform
- Digital-Only Poster: to be displayed digitally in the electronic poster area on the virtual platform

I am honored to invite you to the 54th annual European Human Genetics Conference that will be
organized for the second time as a virtual conference, June 12 to Tuesday, June 15, 2021.
The ESHG Conference has two main scopes: to provide a platform for the dissemination of the most exciting advancements in the field of human genetics and to foster the education of the upcoming generation of human geneticists. Plenary, concurrent and educational sessions, concurrent symposia, workshops and poster viewing fill in an exciting program. The Scientific Program Committee (SPC) defines the topics, with the goal to update the audience on emerging concepts, mechanisms, and technologies in human genetics, providing at the same time a broad view on the progress made in the different areas of our discipline. Invited talks are given by world class speakers and best abstracts, many of which submitted by young doctors and scientists, are selected by the SPC for oral presentations. The meeting will also allow to make direct contacts between scientists and exhibitors, who will present their new product portfolio, with practical demonstrations, to help you in your clinical or experimental work.
In summary, the ESHG meeting is the place to be for those who work in the field of human genetics and for the many followers that this discipline has attracted among life and clinical scientists.

3 Applies to undergraduate & graduate students (MSc/PhD) working towards a degree in human genetics or an associated field. You will need to upload a copy of a Student’s ID or a confirmation signed by the head of department at the moment of your registration.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Notice of cancellation must be made in writing by e-mail to the Conference Office: conference@eshg.org
Registration fees may be refunded if written cancellation has been received as follows:

The cancellation will not be effective until a written acknowledgement from the Conference Office is received. In the case of over-payment or double payment, refund requests must be made in writing and sent to the Congress Office by e-mail. No refunds will be granted for unattended events or early termination of attendance, in case of cancellation of speakers or any other incidents during the conference, which are beyond the control of the conference organisers.
No exceptions to the refund policy can be made, including health or family issues. By registering to the ESHG 2021 – virtual conference, participants agree that neither the organising committee nor the conference office assume any liability whatsoever.
