2021年亚太超声心动图协会(AAE)年会/科学与教育会议(ECHO ASIA 2021)将于2021年5月28-30日在中国香港举行。会议将重点关注结构性心脏病、心力衰竭、心肌病和心律失常，并将为初学者举办讲习班和科学会议，介绍最新的超声心动图知识。届时将有来自EACVI、美国超声心动图学会，以及10个AAE成员学会或工作组(澳大利亚、中国、印度学会、日本、韩国、菲律宾沙特阿拉伯、中国台湾和泰国以及中国香港的组织团体)等机构的国际教员。ECHO ASIA 2021将为心脏病学家/医师、外科医生、急诊科医师、麻醉师、受训人员、相关医疗保健专业人士以及该领域的医疗保健专家以及行业合作伙伴提供一个绝佳的学习和交流的平台。

To echocardiography enthusiasts in the Asian-Pacific region,
On behalf of Asian-Pacific Association of Echocardiography (AAE), I like to invite you to our next annual scientific and educational meeting, ECHO ASIA, to be held in Hong Kong from May 28th to 30th, 2021 under the directorship of Dr. Alex Lee of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. The meeting will be designed for beginners as well as advanced learners in echocardiography with focus on structural heart disease, heart failure, cardiomyopathy, and arrhythmia. There will be workshops for beginners and scientific sessions for presenting the most up to date knowledge in echocardiography. There will be international faculty from the EACVI, American Society of echocardiography, and 10 AAE member societies or working groups (Australian, Chinese, Indian academy, Japanese, Korean, Philippine Saudi Arabia, Taiwan and Thailand as well as the organizing group in Hong Kong).
Echocardiography continues to be the main diagnostic imaging and hemodynamic tool for cardiac patients. It requires optimal imaging technique and proper interpretation as well as application to patient care. These can be accomplished by continuous training of physicians and sonographers who perform and interpreted echocardiography examination. We also need to continue clinical investigation to search for more reliable and practical applications of echocardiography. AAE was established in 2013 to accomplish these goals of echocardiography Education and collaborative research in the Asian-Pacific region. We have held 6 annual scientific meetings and established valuable educational materials in the AAE web site (aaecho.org). The future of the AAE will depend on active participation of physicians and sonographers who are interested in echocardiography. We will also encourage you to become a member of the AAE to support and encourage the growth and the maturity of the association.
We are very excited about his upcoming Echo Asia in Hong Kong, and looking forward to seeing you there.

Registration Fees Overview:
All categories and dates are indicative and subject to change.
The registration fee includes admission to the conference, to all sessions, the exhibition area, the poster area, the Opening Ceremony and the Closing Session.
Registration Cancellation Policy
Notification of cancellation must be made in writing and sent to K.I.T. Group by email. The notification must include all the relevant information regarding the bank account to which a possible refund may be remitted.
If the written notification of cancellation is received before 17 January 2021, a handling fee of 50 USD will be charged. No refunds will be made for cancellations received after this date. Refund requests will be processed after the conference only. They must be made in writing and sent to K.I.T Group by email no later than 14 days after the conference. No refund requests will be processed after this date.
Credit will not be given for unattended events or early termination of attendance. Refunds will be credited only to person / entity who / which paid the original registration.
Registration Name Change
A handling fee of 50 USD will be charged for every name change to an existing conference registration. A registration form for the substitute delegate should be submitted, as well as a proof for the reduced fee if applicable. Name changes will only be accepted until the standard registration deadline indicating clearly the new and old name. After the standard registration deadline (15 April 2021), all name changes must be carried out onsite.
